The Quickly Evolving Human
12-19-24
WHEN SHADOWS DISAPPEAR
ENHANCED INTENT
AS IF IN FLIGHT
QUEST FOR BEAUTY
SO THE OLD SHERIFF
Walked out of the courtroom
Stood on the grand marble steps
And said he was taking back the town
Seems he had torn up the menu -
Cleared a table or two of fine food & drink
Been unrepentant
Hired the best lawyers
Stared down the cameras
And used the press microphones as weapons
To attack the "justice system" & its controllers
Stood on a thousand platforms
And diced up the old thief
Until he couldn't thieve any more
And got the notice he was out
As the old queen
With her claw-like paws
Put in a life-long suck-up
Who cackled her way to the bar
To watch her fake-world power dream crumble
As the returns were absorbed
By an indolent pampered press
Turning out the vote- done.
Governing will require setting the table
And allowing Americans to eat
Their own food - free of noxious chemicals
Drive the car they choose to
Breathe free, clean air
And speak their minds
As if Americans endowed with liberty
By generations of fully committed patriots
Immune to bribery & coercion
