The window closes on absolute truth

Discourse is simply stated opinions

Shallow enough to spread easily

No depth to navigate.

Language used as weaponry

As though able to re-define concepts -

Freedom becomes a form of confinement,

With disaster portrayed as the alternative.

Always the false dichotomy -

The advocate's way or plan or remedy

Portrayed as the only viable option -

Such as economic federal policy

Used to justify 2 trillion dollar deficits

Annually, year after year -

Leading to the advocates position

That the U.S. Treasury print the dollars

And let the Federal Reserve bank buy them.

Therefore, Congress & president

Pass and sign "continuing resolutions"

With no budget -

Just trillions of spending authorization,

Ending with interest rate manipulation -

Keeping them at 1% for 15 years -

All because it is necessary

In order to avoid calamities -

Too numerous to detail.

A life lived privately may be preferred -

With minimum exposure

To the always capable arms

Of government observation.

Graceful movement, full-effect breathful.

Calm demeanor inside and out.
